Facilitator Training

Cohort starts Jan 1, 2027

Hold the room. Move the conversation.

The Greenwood Method only works when someone knows how to hold the space. Train with us and learn to lead structured, restorative dialogue that turns conflict into commitment — in classrooms, boardrooms, city halls, and community centers.

The program

A practice, not a workshop.

Most facilitation trainings hand you a script. We hand you a practice — one you'll rehearse, get coached on, and carry into real conversations long after the program ends.

Redirect without shutting down

Guide participants back to the framework when emotion spikes — without flattening what they're feeling.

De-escalate tension

Keep heat alive in the room without letting it become harmful.

Translate between perspectives

Bridge gaps in language, culture, and lived experience so people actually hear each other.

Drive toward outcomes

End every session with shared language, commitments, and a next step that holds.

What you'll learn

Three formats. One discipline.

01

Dialogue Arc

A structured one-to-one or small-group conversation that moves from surface to substance in a defined arc.

02

Restorative Circle

A facilitated group format for repair — bringing people back into right relationship after harm or rupture.

03

Public Forum

A live, large-format conversation designed to surface disagreement and end in shared commitments.

Format

Cohort-based. Practice-first.

Training runs in small cohorts so every facilitator gets reps, feedback, and direct coaching. You'll leave with a tested practice, a peer network, and the confidence to hold rooms that matter.
