Refund and Return Policy

Welcome to The Dialogue Studio at Greenwood. This Refund and Return Policy ("Policy") governs the purchase of all digital products, physical goods, subscriptions, and services through our website located at https://thedialoguestudio.org (the "Site").
The Dialogue Studio at Greenwood (referred to herein as "we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing a high-quality experience for our community. Because our business involves media, publishing, and digital content, please read this policy carefully to understand your rights regarding refunds and returns.
1. OVERVIEW OF SERVICES
As a media and publishing entity, our offerings generally fall into three categories:
- Digital Products: E-books, downloadable reports, and digital media files.
- Physical Goods: Print-on-demand books, merchandise, or physical publications.
- Services/Subscriptions: Professional services, scheduling-based consultations, and premium member content.
2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS (NON-REFUNDABLE)
Due to the nature of digital content, all sales of downloadable products (including but not limited to PDFs, audio files, and digital publications) are final and non-refundable once the download link has been provided or the file has been accessed.
If you experience technical issues accessing your digital purchase, please contact us at info@thedialoguestudio.org so we may assist you or provide a replacement link.
3. PHYSICAL GOODS
If we offer physical merchandise or printed publications, the following rules apply:
- Return Window: You have thirty (30) days from the date of delivery to request a return.
- Condition for Return: Items must be unused, in the same condition that you received them, and in their original packaging.
- Non-Returnable Items: Personalized or custom-printed items (e.g., specific print-on-demand publications) are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RECURRING BILLING
If you have created a User Account and opted into a subscription-based service:
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will stop future billing but does not result in a retroactive refund of the current billing cycle.
- Access: Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the subscription services until the end of your current paid billing period.
5. SCHEDULED SERVICES AND CONSULTATIONS
For services involving Scheduling (e.g., studio time, consultations, or workshops):
- Cancellations by User: Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the deposit.
- No-Shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
6. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you receive a physical product that is damaged or defective (e.g., a misprinted book or broken merchandise), please contact us within 7 days of receipt with:
- Your order number.
- Photographic evidence of the damage.
We will, at our discretion, either ship a replacement product at no cost to you or issue a full refund to your original payment method.
7. REFUND PROCESSING
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund is approved.
- Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
8. DATA PRACTICES IN RELATION TO REFUNDS
As part of our refund process, we may collect and process the following information in accordance with our Privacy Policy:
- Payments: We use third-party payment processors to handle transactions. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Forms & User Accounts: Information provided during the refund request (e.g., name, email, order history) is used solely to facilitate the return.
- Communication: We may use your email or SMS (if opted-in) to provide updates on your return status.
9. JURISDICTION AND COMPLIANCE
This Policy is governed by the laws of the United States (Federal) and the state in which The Dialogue Studio at Greenwood is headquartered.
